A Fun Run was held on Saturday that hosted by the Police Benevolent Society. Student Council and Criminal Justice gladly volunteered to help. We created signs and brought pom poms and clappers to cheer on all the participants. It was a big success but next year we hope to have a larger cheering section.

Maleah Woods, Carlos Robles, Nick Carballoso, and Molly Jensen enjoy some snacks before Stu Co meeting
This month Stu Co met with a galaxy theme to get ready for the big event of Homecoming. The homecoming theme this year is "SCHS Goes Global", and with relays, a parade, and powderpuff football in the works the council has a lot to get ready for. The council also discussed the upcoming volunteer days at the Butterfly Festival and for the Police Fun Run. The council is working with Renaissance to participate in this Friday's high five greetings at the door. Stu Co would like to welcome all the new freshman members of the group. The icebreaker at the meeting involved get to know you bingo and members are eager to participate and start working towards school and community involvement for the year. |
